Exhibition: the Mark on My Life, March - April 2006

Here are some photographs from my current exhibition at Dimbola Lodge Museum: 'The Mark on My Life'. So far it has had very positive comments. The making of this art work was all to do with life and death and the fragility and balance of our existence.

The exhibition is made up of wood blocks, the wood block prints and the photographs that inspired them. Here is an inkjet printout montage. The subject is of a baby in intensive care after open heart surgery. The baby is me!

Here is a shot of the wood blocks that I made to print with... it is difficult to see any detail on them here though.
